Mark your calendars for Tuesday November 18th from 7pm to 9pm as Varanese Restaurant will be hosting a Fall Harvest Feast Wine Dinner. Todd Vice, District Manager for the Republic National Distributing Company, will be in attendance to share his expertise on the wines that will be served with your six-course meal! If you have never been to Varanese Tuesday night is when you need to attend...it's an opportunity you will be happy you didn't pass on!
The menu has been prepared by restaurant owner and chef John Varanese. The menu is as follows:
Reception cocktail: Starlight "Farm to Table" Vodka
First Course: Borealis, White Blend - Oregon | Baked Stuff Oyster on the Half Shell topped with Bacon Marmalade
Second Course: Foley, Chardonnay - Napa, California | Radicchio topped with Kenny's Bleu Cheese, Honey Walnut Granola, Plump Chardonnay golden Raisins and Drizzled with an Apple Viniagrette
Third Course: Van Duzer, Dijon Blocks, Pinot Noir - Oregon | Pumpkin Risotto topped with a Wild Mushroom Fricassee and Pomegranate-Balsamic Reduction
Fourth Course: Ridge, Zinfandel - Sonoma, California | Turducken with Butternut Squash Hash, Haricot Verts, Cranberry Chutney and Turducken Gravy
