Meet family and friends of Louis Braille, inventory of the Braille code, this weekend in Louisville!
On Saturday January 25th from 10:30am to 12:30pm you will have the opportunity to meet the inventor of the Braille code system in character-form at the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind. In celebration of National Braille Literacy Awareness Month family, friends and teachers of Louis Braille will be visiting Louisville for the ‘Louis Braille: This is Your Life’ event.
The Braille writing system has helped countless number of blind and visually impaired individuals read and write. With technological advancements there are now Braille computers and display screens that allow users to read and write more efficiently and effectively.
